Thanksgiving Traditions in Aiken SC

Thanksgiving is upon us -  wishing everyone a happy, healthy holiday - I hope you get to spend time with family, friends and other loved ones.
We have some traditions here in Aiken for Thanksgiving --- maybe you can add some (or all) of these to your holiday tradition as well!

1 BLOODIES & BAGELS:  9:00 - 10:30am.  Start your morning off with the Aiken Land Conservancy at the Aiken County Historical Museum on South Boundary Ave/Newberry Street for some complimentary hot coffee, water, Bloody Mary's and bagels -  meet some friends, enjoy conversation and learn about the Aiken Land Conservancy.     More info:  Aiken Land Conservancy

2.  BLESSING OF THE HOUNDS:  11am.  Give yourself time to walk into the Woods (at the South Boundary entrance), to get to the Memorial Gate (approx half mile walk).  Please leave your dogs at home!  Join the Aiken Hounds for their opening meet and annual blessing.  All are welcome.    For more info:  803.643.DRAG.  Aiken Hounds/Hitchcock Woods
3.   ONE TABLE:  11am - 1pm.  Downtown Aiken, The Alley.  Aiken's community Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone is welcome!  Join friends and neighbors for Thanksgiving meal - all are welcome to attend.  More info:  One Table
