Summer concerts in Hopelands Gardens - every Monday - free for the public!  Everyone is welcome, come on out and enjoy the gardens, and a concert :)

All concerts begin at 7pm (unless otherwise noted) - and held at Hopelands Gardens on the Windham Performing Arts Stage. 

Bring a chair, or blanket... even bring your picnic dinner (no alcohol please!)

Well behaved pets allowed, but must be on a lease.

Handicap parking available at the Rye Patch parking lot on Berrie Road, and Hopelands Gardens parking lot on Dupree Place.     Other attendees should park at the Green Boundary (Whiskey Road across from the Gardens). A shuttle is available from the Ceramics Center parking lot on Two Notch Rd  (Odell Weeks)

Sunday Polo in Aiken!

Spring Polo season is upon us!

Come on out to Whitney Field (Mead Ave) and enjoy Sunday polo with Aiken Polo CLub!  The sport of Kings.  Matches are exciting for the whole family!  Enjoy a tailgate snack/picnic during the match...and be ready for the divot stomp at halftime!  Polo has a deep history in Aiken, come out and enjoy Aiken polo!

Admission: $5.00 per person at the gate, or $25 for a ticket to the Social Tent.

Downtown Aiken Christmas Tree Lighting - 12/5/14

We've been decking the halls, streets and shop windows, now it's time to light the Christmas tree!  Our tree is located in the center of Downtown Aiken, at the intersection of Richland Ave and Laurens Street - it sits atop the fountain!  Come join the community in singing Christmas Carols and welcoming the Christmas season! See you there!    We have a new tree this year, too -    not sure why we switched trees, we used to have a snowflake metal sculpture tree, it was simply beautiful --- this years tree has a more 'real tree' look to it. I'll post some pics after the lighting.

Swing by for the freshest 'in season' fruits and veggies.... and more!  Flowers, plants, honey, baked goods...    open until sold out!

April-Sept Tues, Thurs, sat 8am-noon.

Local country music artist doing his thing!

Have you heard of Todd Tyler?  He's an Aiken County local making his name big on the radio!  He's a singer/songwriter and plays the guitar, bass, mandolin and piano.  Here's a link to his website -  Todd Tyler Music   you can listen to his songs, even make a purchase ....  just enjoy!   He's really good, I hope he goes far in the music industry.
