Yes, it's time for the Aiken Downtown Christmas Parade!.... be on the lookout for Santa, I hear he will be arriving during the parade, yaaay!! The weatherman says it will be a beautiful, sunny, warm day :)

Where: Downtown Aiken... parade route runs along Park ave (starting at Union St), then continues onto Laurens Street.
Come on out and join the fun! See all the floats, local groups, bands, our political leaders, and tv personalities! Our new mayor will be there, too!

This is my favorite time of year! This traditional event is amazing. 1000's of luminaries line the streets in Downtown Aiken, creating a winter wonderland. Shopkeepers stay open late, so you can get your holiday shopping started (or finished!)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and after tonight it will be officially Christmas season in Downtown Aiken! It's time for our annual Christmas tree lighting - officiated by our newly elected Mayor, Rick Osbon! This is the 27th Annual tree lighting - another Aiken tradition.
