just add chairs, food, friends and rel

To put it simply - to enjoy an afternoon polo match you only need to bring a few things:
- a comfortable chair or blanket (or just sit on the grass, or your tailgate....) - BUT ALWAYS BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR STRAY BALLS...AND HORSES HEADING YOUR WAY!
- a picnic lunch, with the beverage of your choice ;)

- friends (or special someone) A polo match can be whatever you want it to be! It can be a fun date, or a casual afternoon with friends, and a great way to entertain out of town clients or business associates.
- binoculars - optional (If you are planning this to be a 'date'....let her use the binoculars)
- camera (if you have one - bring it. You will be sorry if you don't)

Polo action happens fast - so bring food that is already prepared and travels well. You don't want to be standing over a grill, and missing all the action on the field. (although , if you are hosting a large party at the match - you could hire a caterer to take care of the food/beverage). If you have tickets for the VIP tent - then you don't have to bring anything - there will usually be a catered spread in the tent.

A big mistake some people make is waiting till halftime to eat. DON'T!! You will be busy at halftime helping to ‘put the field back together', lol. Yup, just like in the movie ‘Pretty Woman' -- - we stomp divots at halftime. It is a lot of fun.

This is what The Aiken Community Playhouse website had to say about the upcoming show:

"THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED) embodies one of comedy's most essential impulses: the adolescent urge to take a baseball bat to the culturally revered. A mix of pratfalls, puns, willful misreadings of names and dialogue, clunky female impersonations, clean-cut ribaldry, and broad burlesque. The gung-ho vitality is impossible to resist. The conversion of the histories into a football game is very funny. So is a rap version of OTHELLO. HAMLET truly soars and allows the actors to come into their own as manic clowns. At its giddiest, its tone recalls the fabled Bullwinkle cartoon shows."
